Deutsches Zentrum fĂĽr Infektionsforschung (DZIF) Annual meeting 2019

DZIF2019

A wonderful memory of a happier time when we could attend awesome events together. Zoom and other web-based applications are allowing a degree of “getting things done” but hopefully we can return again to some normality when prudent. For now, best wishes and much success to my DZIF colleagues working on diagnostics, therapeutics, and vaccine candidates for fighting Covid-19.

Professor Brian Cox – my first (and only) professional “Selfie”

Selfie

Over the last 20+ years, I have had the great pleasure to meet and work with some of the most successful and smartest people in the world – truly humbling. I have never made “selfies” and always stayed very much in the background and in the shadow of the guest and client speakers at global events. With the case of Professor Cox, I made an exception 🙂  A hero of mine who helps to bring science to a broader audience.
